Lux Eterna
Since 2014, SPARK has come into its own as a leading print, online, and multimedia publication for emerging creatives in Austin and beyond. We are a diverse network of student talent, passionate about telling compelling stories, producing evocative visuals, and pushing the boundaries of art, culture, and fashion.
Role: Assistant Creative Director and Model
Entering Lux Eterna
As Assistant Creative Director, I work alongside Caleb Zhang to direct the visual concept and aesthetic that the magazine will follow during the creation of Issue No.18. We oversee all of Spark’s creative departments, Spark’s editorial production, and workshop creative camp in order to aid members in perfecting their craft.
Our greatest responsibility is creating the theme of the issue in the form of a singular word that encapsulates the visual aesthetic and concept of the issue. This semester, I created the word Lux Eterna, meaning eternal light. As my final farewell to this publication, I can only imagine the light of our members continuing to prevail against all odds.

Creative Camp
Part of CD and ACD’s roles is to create and lead Creative Camp for all incoming new Spark members in order for them to properly understand how our creative process works and get a feel for working on a creative team. The word the workshop revolved around for Issue No.18 was VERVE.
